Affalterbach. The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC (combined fuel consumption 9.2–8.7 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions 209–196 g/km)[1] is now lining up for the launch of sales, at a base price of 71,459.50 euros[2] for the Saloon and 73,244.50 euros for the Estate. The completely redeveloped model opens up access to the Driving Performance world of Mercedes-AMG in the mid-range segment. The performance of the agile, 300 kW (408 hp) AMG engine is enhanced by an electric exhaust gas turbocharger. This “world first” guarantees particularly spontaneous response across the entire rev range and thus offers an even more dynamic driving experience. The belt-driven starter generator (RSG) offers an additional short-term boost of 10 kW (14 hp) in certain driving situations.
The standard rear axle steering, the AMG Performance 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission with wet start-off clutch and the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with Adaptive Damping System also all contribute to the sporty driving experience. In keeping with this, brand-specific equipment and appointments features as well as the details of the exterior and interior design emphasise the performance-oriented character of the new Mercedes‑AMG C 43 4MATIC.
The standard equipment of both the Saloon and the Estate includes 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, the latest-generation MBUX infotainment system, AMG-specific displays, AMG seats and the AMG Performance steering wheel with AMG steering wheel buttons. Numerous options fulfil the wishes of customers for high levels of individualisation, with a range that combines features exclusive to AMG with elements from Mercedes-Benz. This means that customers can opt for AMG Optics, Carbon-Fibre or Night Packages as well as numerous driving assistance systems or ENERGIZING Packages.
